Integrative Care Conference:
An Interdisciplinary Approach to Caring Practices
Who Should Attend:
All healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses and social workers, as well as practitioners of meditation and the general community.
Objectives:
To examine the role of evidence-based practices in integrative care in patient's health and healing.

Father Laurence Freeman, OSB

Director, The World Community of Christian Meditation
Before entering monastic life, Fr. Laurence had experiences with the United Nations, in banking and journalism. He travels widely as an international speaker and retreat leader and has authored several articles and books. His latest is First Sight: The Experience of Faith. Active in inter-religious dialogue and international peace initiatives, Fr. Laurence has worked with the Dalai Lama and leaders of other faiths. He encourages the teaching of Christian meditation to children and students and the recovery of the contemplative wisdom in the church and society at large.

CAMPUS LOCATION - DUPONT AUDITORIUM:
Park in the Visitor’s Parking Garage P1 or Heart Hospital Parking Garage P3.
Follow signage to the adult hospital. If entering from P1 stop at the information desk in the main lobby/atrium of the new Weaver Tower to be directed to the duPont auditorium. If you enter from P3 follow signage to the adult hospital, enter through the doors by the round fountain. Pass the information desk on your left and continue to the right, towards the adult side of the hospital to the Atrium.
To the right of the Atrium is a set of stairs that will take you down one level to the auditorium. If you continue past the Atrium to the left, on the right there is a bank of elevators, take it to the basement.
